Mowsbury welcomes Golf Societies seven days a week, with an extensive choice of package options being available, all at extremely competitive prices.

Whether you require 18 or 36 holes, a warm up bucket of balls on the range or even a golf lesson from the P.G.A. Professional, the staff will ensure that your members enjoy a day to remember.

From pre coffee to evening dinner, you can be sure of a personalised service to suit your requirements.

Below are the most commonly requested packages that we provide. Packages can be made up to suit your needs. Please contact us for further details and for a cost. Please note that food must be included in your package to qualify as a society booking with a minimum of 12 players.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR BOOKING

To book your society event at Mowsbury, please contact the Society Manager on 01234 771493 to check availability and then complete the booking form (this can be printed off or call for one to be posted to you). This should then be returned along with a cheque for £30.00 deposit, which is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation (cheques payable to: ‘Bedford Borough Council’). Eight days prior to your booking please contact the society manager to confirm the number of golfers in your party, any subsequent reduction must be paid for. Please note that a minimum of twelve players are required to qualify for a society booking, playing in four balls. For any further information please contact the Society Manager

DRESS CODE

Players are required to adhere to the dress code of the course which is as follows:

No vests, singlets or football shirts. Shorts must be tailored.

EQUIPMENT HIRE

Two players are not to play out of the same bag. Sets of clubs are available to hire from £5. Trolleys and buggies are also available. Please contact our pro-shop for details on 01234 216374. In addition, our twelve bay driving range is available for you to warm up before your round, as is our practice putting green.

COURSE ETIQUETTE AND LOCAL RULES

Please arrive in plenty of time for your tee-time. PLAY WITHOUT DELAY. Slow play can result in considerable delay, not only for others on the course, but also for those arriving later. Keep up with the group infront, not just ahead of the group behind. If your group loses ground on the group infront, call the next group through. As a rough guide, a four ball should complete the course in no more than four hours. Local rules and course etiquette are listed in full on the scorecard.
